    Paxton MV Shiraz is a blend of grapes from 4 vineyards resulting in a really elegant and well balanced wine. Layers of chocolate, plum, mocha and vanillin spice on the nose. The palette it is full-bodied with a beautiful primary fruit character of sour cherry and Empress plums. Lovely integration of oak and fruit with a seamless texture and tannin profile. Pairs well with all kinds of meats from the BBQ, or veal schnitzel. A really great wine for the price.

The palate is soft and smooth with notes of sweet black cherries and blackcurrant fruits combined with notes of cinnamon and cloves supported by lovely soft tannins. Well balanced with a fresh acidity and a long, fruity finish. Pairs well with cured meats, spaghetti Bolognese and tomato-based pasta dishes.
