Yalumba – Organic Chardonnay 2015 is pale lemon in colour with green hues, this wine has aromas of ripe apples, honey and dried herbs. Full and fruity bouquet with flowers and jasmine, and with a rich texture. Very well balanced and quite delicious.
The palate is creamy and rich with notes of pear, white flowers and spices. Creamy texture and citrusy finish.
Excellent with lemon chicken, South Asian cuisine, vegetable Risotto.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Our 2015 Organic Chardonnay was sourced from two certified organic vineyards located in the Riverland and Adelaide Plains. Meticulous work in keeping the vineyards ensures the grapes are in perfect condition when they are picked. Together these two family growers have created a wine that showcases the variety with very little winemaking intervention. The ferment is completed using naturally occurring yeasts from the vineyard and winery.

This wine is pale straw in colour with green hues. Aromas of melon, peach and stonefruit fill the nose. The palate follows on from the aromas – stonefruits are present initially with lemon myrtle and grapefruit, before the creamy orange panna cotta finish.
Spicy mussels with Soba noodles are a great combination with this wine, but really it works well with a variety of shellfish dishes.
