NB. Charges and delivery times vary for Northern Ireland so please contact us in advance.

Please note the following important points:

Local same day orders can only be placed on weekdays and before 5pm. After that time the option for local same day delivery is not available.

Unsigned-for deliveries are entirely at the customers risk. If you are not going to be on the delivery date you have the option to ask the courier to leave in a safe place, however if the package goes missing we cannot compensate or replace your order. This can be done by specifying a safe place on the order notes at the checkout.

Summary

There are basically 2 options for delivery. Local Same Day and National Overnight with timed options.

Local, same day delivery is £5, or FREE on orders of £30 and over.

National overnight by 4pm is £10, and FREE on orders of £70 and over.

Local same day deliveries are Monday to Friday only and national overnight is Monday to Saturday morning.

Local Same Day - Wines

Deadlines:

If you get the order completed by 12pm you can choose either of our delivery slots; 1-4pm or 7-10pm.

If you get your order completed by 5pm you will receive your delivery in the 7-10pm slot.

Cost:

Local, same day delivery costs £5

Orders up to £29.99 are chargeable and orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery.

Coverage:

Local, at the moment, is anyone who lives in the following postcodes: NW1, NW2, NW3, NW5, NW6, NW8, NW10 and W9. We deliver to these areas ourselves. We will be expanding this area as the business grows but for now it is just these adjoining postcodes.

Exclusions:

We currently cannot deliver same-day to individual flats in blocks, only to houses or communal entrances due to parking restrictions and the fact we cannot leave alcohol unattended in the delivery vehicle. If you require delivery to the door of a flat in a block please use the national, overnight delivery service detailed below.

National Overnight - Wines

Currently there is no date picker so we assume all deliveries are for the next working day. If you wish to order in advance please specify the date in the order notes at the checkout.

Deadlines:

For next day delivery you must complete your order by 3.30pm.

Orders received after 3.30pm will leave the following working day. So orders placed on Monday after 3.30pm will arrive Wednesday etc.

Friday Orders:

Orders placed before 3.30pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday unless you select Saturday delivery.

Weekend Orders:

Orders placed after 3.30pm on Friday and any time over the weekend until Monday 3.30pm will be despatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday. There is no Saturday delivery after 3.30pm Fridays even though the option is visible.

Charges:

Orders up to £69.99 are chargeable at standard rates and orders of £70 or more qualify for free overnight by 4pm shipping which equates to £10 off whatever service you choose.

Timed services will incur whatever the extra levy is for that service:

Saturday deliveries – Wines
These options are only available with national overnight courier deliveries. We do not deliver locally ourselves on Saturday but of course anyone in local postcodes can use the national, overnight courier service to receive their wines on Saturday or indeed any other day.

The options for Saturday delivery slots appear on any day when you reach the checkout as that is just the way the system currently works. If you select Saturday delivery your order will be dispatched on the Friday of that week.

Accessories

Deliveries on all accessories is FREE and the following conditions apply:
If we have the item(s) in stock and you order wines at the same time the item(s) will be delivered with your wines on whichever delivery option you select.
If we do not have the item(s) in stock they will normally be delivered separately within 3-5 working days on a standard Royal Mail service or locally in our van during one of our delivery slots.
If you order accessories only we deliver within 3-5 working days on a standard Royal Mail service or locally in our van during one of our delivery slots.
If an item is out of stock with our supplier we will inform you ASAP and give you an expected arrival date. You then have the choice to wait or get a refund.
We aim to let our customers know if items are available on the product page though we cannot guarantee the accuracy of that information as circumstances may change with our supplier.

Refunds and Breakages

Wines
Our couriers are very used to carrying wine and all consignments are sent on a Fragile Service so breakages are unlikely, but if they do occur we ask that you report them immediately to the courier.

Generally speaking if a wine bottle breaks in transit it will be immediately obvious just by looking at the box, but we ask all our customers to please open the box at the point of delivery and check you have the correct items and that nothing is broken. Every consignment has a delivery note detailing your order. If you do not report a breakage to the delivery driver you cannot then claim for it later. If there is a problem with incorrect items that is not an issue and we can sort that out at any time, but if incorrect items are returned immediately at the point of delivery it is faster and easier for us to replace them obviously, so we encourage our customers to check their orders on arrival.

If you purchase more than one bottle of any particular wine and you decide after trying it that you do not like it, you can return the remaining bottles for a refund or exchange credit. We will charge you the return carriage though.

Accessories
Any damage or problems arising from our accessories must be reported within 48 hours of the delivery date by the recipient or the customers who purchased the item. Failure to do so may result in us declining to replace the item and the decision will be entirely at our discretion. Refunds are not available on accessories, only replacement items.
